Professional Highlights

Are you living the deepest truths you know? Are you embodying the most profound insights you've discovered? Can you allow yourself to Be, to express the truth of who you truly are?

                                                                                                      The Mindful Heart

We live in an information/energy age.  Information technology––especially the internet––has simply shown us how we are, and have always been, connected to each other energetically–each and everyone of us living in, as part of, the same energy fields, the same energy-information grids. Energy information is used everywhere––in holistic models of health through sound, massage, acupuncture, and energy healing; in corporate wellness and development programs through mindful leadership, meditation, and other transformational modalities; in classrooms as we begin to teach 'positive attitudes', meditation and how they impact learning, and in the energy economies of global businesses.

Even athletic and artistic training modalities now understand that visualization and 'felt energetic presence' is equally, if not more important, than physical skill. And attending to the energetic body is beginning to permeate not only our health professions but our psychological and spiritual paradigms as well. Traumatic memories from 3 generations back––we now know scientifically––reside in our cellular structures and must be attended to if we are to achieve true psychological and spiritual well-being.  Physics everywhere, for some time, has shown us we live in an energetic universe––that we ourselves are energetic ecosystems, but we are only beginning to truly allow this to infuse our knowledge and knowing across all the domains of our lives, to allow it to open our understanding of who we are, what we can achieve, and what our connection to the universe and each other truly looks like. In fact, many scientist now are suggesting that the universe itself is conscious, making consciousness itself the ground of our Being--not matter.

Fascinated and compelled to understand the nature of our Being, Allannah has supplemented her traditional academic studies with a long 'path' of participating in transformational workshops, meditation, and alternative healing workshops–beginning in the 80s with meditation practices based in the Soto Zen Serene Reflection School of Meditation and learning about how food and alternative health practices can impact our lives. She understood from a young age that her spiritual life needed to have equal grounding in her daily life--even if only through her deep connection to nature. Below are a selection of trainings and certifications that support her work.
